PROJECT OVERVIEW

Understand the conditions before choosing a solution

Custom fabrication supports buyers with a proposal, construction drawings or reference samples who need membrane and steel components. Our factory in Xingyang, Zhengzhou accepts drawing- and sample-based enquiries. Fabrication-only supply differs from design and installation; agree drawing responsibility, material procurement, production scope and site coordination first.

Use an approved revision

Check dimensions, holes, connections and membrane panels together, keeping changes aligned with fabrication schedules.

Trace material requirements

Record membrane grades, steel specifications, colours and coatings in procurement and delivery documents.

Plan transport early

Coordinate component sections, protective packaging, identification and unloading with the route and installation method.

Key considerations

What drawings and samples need to establish

Check drawings for dimensions, connections, materials and quantities. Relevant parties should confirm missing site interface dimensions before manufacture.

Samples help agree colour, appearance and local details. A material sample cannot establish the structural suitability of an entire canopy; use samples with technical documents.

  • Drawing numbers and revisions
  • Critical dimensions and interfaces
  • Approved material and finish samples
Key considerations

Coordinate membrane and steelwork fabrication

Membrane edges, installation connections and steel nodes affect one another. Where procurement is split, assign someone to consolidate interface information and check compatibility.

Complex forms and new membranes on existing structures need measurement and detailed design first. Distinguish primary materials, fittings and site adjustments in the supply list.

Key considerations

Delivery includes unpacking checks

Specify the destination, permitted vehicles, unloading and storage space. Number components and packaging so the site team can check deliveries in installation order.

Check quantities, condition and documents against the delivery list. Record transit damage or missing items promptly; agree responsibility and method before site modifications or redrilling.

SCOPE & COORDINATION

Use the same scope for proposals, quotations and handover.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Can you quote from a hand sketch?

It can start the discussion. Critical dimensions, connections and materials must be documented and confirmed before fabrication.

Can we buy only the membrane?

This can be discussed with support-structure dimensions, connection details and membrane records; a new survey may be needed.

Does the fabricator take responsibility for the original design?

This must be stated in the appointment. Fabricating to drawings, detailing and structural design are separate services.

How do we avoid incompatible site connections?

Have the relevant parties confirm critical interfaces and revisions before fabrication. Supply numbered schedules and check installation against the drawings.
