1. How AI may be used

AI may also assist with organising text, translation, drafts and wording. This policy explains our content-use and publishing standards; it does not mean every image or article is AI-generated or that all historical content has undergone the same professional review.

The publisher remains responsible for published content, whether or not AI is used. Generated material cannot replace genuine project records, material documentation, test reports or appropriately qualified professional judgment.

2. Photographs, renders and AI illustrations

• Project and factory photographs: show the stated project, product, equipment or working scene. A photograph alone does not establish that the company performed every part of a project. Its role should be understood from the relevant case description and records.
• Design visualisations: communicate appearance, layout or design intentions. They may use conventional modelling or other illustration methods, do not represent an as-built result and are not necessarily AI-generated.
• AI-generated or synthetic illustrations: should carry a visible label such as “AI-generated illustration” near the image or within the content. They present concepts and are not evidence of completed projects, actual dimensions, construction details or performance.
• Edits that materially change facts: compositing or adding or removing subjects should be disclosed where it could misrepresent a real scene. Edited visuals must not fabricate clients, credentials, deliveries or project experience.

This general policy does not replace labels required on individual content. Existing source information and AI labels should be preserved when material is shared, cropped or downloaded, and must not be maliciously removed, altered or concealed.

3. Checking and publishing standards

Publishing standards require editors to check company identity, project facts, material specifications, units, sources and descriptions that could affect engineering safety. Performance and standards should, where possible, refer to original reports, manufacturer information or applicable standards, with models and conditions identified. AI-generated figures, projects, certifications or references must not be published as facts without verification.

Human-review statements must reflect the work actually done. “Reviewed” labels and their stated scope should be used only after the corresponding checks. General editing is not a licensed engineer's approval. Important specifications and project decisions still require the relevant professionals to consider the site and contract. Errors should lead to substantive correction, with changes explained where appropriate; changing a date alone should not create an impression of updated content.

4. Translation and technical limitations

Chinese and English technical wording may differ in terminology, units or local standards. Automated translation and AI text may omit conditions, misinterpret images or contain errors. Loads, fire performance, dimensions, pricing, warranties and construction scope must be confirmed through the agreed project documents and applicable requirements. 5. Material rights and personal information

Using AI does not automatically grant rights to third-party works, trademarks, likenesses or project materials. Sources and permitted uses still need to be checked before publication. Non-public customer drawings, contact details and confidential information should not be sent to external AI services without a lawful basis and necessary arrangements. 6. Feedback and corrections
