Tensile membranes can cover plaza seating, activities and walking areas. Define the primary use first: daily rest, market displays and temporary performances need different layouts and cannot all be represented by one form drawing.
Relate shade to the hours of use
Compare shadow positions using orientation, nearby buildings and activity times. A larger roof is not necessarily more effective if its shade misses seating or queues.
Define boundaries for crowds and temporary facilities
Coordinate bases, cables, level changes and event equipment with pedestrian routes. Agree loads and connections before attaching stages, lights, signs or decorations to the roof; do not improvise hanging points as an event arrives.
Involve operators in maintenance planning
Arrange cleaning, inspection and local repairs around plaza users, with clear drainage and electrical-management responsibilities. Demountable structures still need a dismantling plan; convenience does not mean unrestricted removal at any time.
