Membrane canopies at corridor entrances

Connecting corridors often contain a long walking route. At the entrance, check the relationship between both ends and the middle as well as appearance, so new shelter does not interrupt existing connections.

Review continuity along the whole corridor

Walk from one end to the other and record doors, corners and equipment. Keep supports and connections clear of wall-mounted equipment requiring access, and explain how runoff reaches the existing drainage.

  • Which doorways along the route must stay open?
  • Where is wall-mounted equipment accessed for maintenance?
