Canopy structures over wastewater tanks
A canopy over a tank and a cover at its opening may serve different purposes. For rain protection, define the coverage. For gas collection, also specify enclosure and interfaces.

Distinguish a shelter from a containment cover
An open-sided canopy is not a sealed tank cover. Early drawings should identify whether the perimeter is enclosed, where equipment is maintained and whether gas collection is connected.
- Is the main objective rain protection or gas collection?
- Must the tank perimeter remain open for work?
